The Bleeding Tree
There stands a tree that should not weep,
yet it does.
Its bark is split with silent wounds,
deep lines carved by time, by hands, by storms
that never asked permission.
From every crack, a dark red truth
slowly spills.
Not sap,
but something heavier.
Something that remembers.
It bleeds for axes that bit too deep,
for fires that licked its skin to ash,
for names carved into it
by those who never stayed
to hear it cry.
The wind passes through its branches,
carrying whispers,
echoes of voices long gone,
echoes of pain it could not refuse.
Still, it stands.
Roots clenched in stubborn earth,
drinking both rain and sorrow.
Leaves trembling, yet holding light
as if hope were a duty.
Some walk past and call it broken.
Some stare and turn away.
But a few… a few understand:
This is not weakness.
To bleed and still stand tall,
to hurt and still grow skyward,
that is a different kind of strength.
And the tree, in all its quiet suffering,
teaches what the world forgets:
Not everything that bleeds is dying.
Some things bleed
because they are still alive. #news #Featured #entertainment #Newsletter #politics #CelebrityNews #ForYourInformation #Celebs #Africa #Really #arts #Worldnews
